How to setup a workflow to update smartsheet from Jira for the rows that have a value in jira id column?

Hello!

I have a sheet that has multiple columns including a jira id column. How should I setup the connector workflow, so that the values (for eg: status) are pulled from jira for the issue with the jira id specified in that row?

When I set up the workflow with issue key mapped to jira id (workflow sets it up as jira to smartsheet), then status in Jira is mapped to status in smartsheet (Jira data to smartsheet, unidirectional), workflow seems to update the rows with id, but it also dumps a bunch of rows for jira issues that are not in the smartsheet. How can I get the workflow to update ONLY those that have a value in jira id field?

Thank you for your response.

I have configured and used workflows in the past as well, so I am familiar with the setup aspect. I need help with the logic for this flow. Pro support slot is only available after 2 weeks. Hence looking for help from community. Attaching screenshots of what I have.

as the connector for Jira needs to be configured in multiple steps and you need to consider various this or that decisions I strongly recommend to do this learning path:
