avoid pulling duplicate value

the above is a tracker i want to pull some value into

the tracker i want to pull values from are show below:

there are duplicate job numbers in the first screenshot but i only want to pull the value against one of them not all of them to avoid duplicate sums

can anyone assist please?

You can use datamesh, but if you do not have access to that or prefer to use formulas, you would use a DISTINCT function in the formula that pulls the [Job Number] entries over.

If you are able to provide the formula that is already in there, I can help modify it to pull in only a single entry for each [Job Number].

You can use DataMesh instead of a formula to handle this.

When configuring your DataMesh workflow, go to Define View and set:

Duplicates in Source Sheet: Pick 1st Match

This will return the first matching record from the source sheet and help avoid duplicate lookup results.

=IF(COUNTIF([Job Number]$1:[Job Number]@row, [Job Number]@row) = 1, INDEX({CAPEX COINS CHECKER Range 1}, MATCH([Job Number]@row, {CAPEX COINS CHECKER Range 2}, 0)), 0)
