I a very new to Smartsheet (4 weeks) and this community so my apologies if my question doesn't match the rules.
I have built a PMO template and profile which I will integrate with control centre to automatically generate a new project triggered by HubSpot.
The template has a set of activities across multiple internal teams which will be-populated by default with placeholders being fed from Resource Management, to then be updated to the relevant team member once we formally kick-off a project.
Through a helper column in the template, I have flagged which rows should be done by the same individual (eg row 4, row 6, row 12, row 15).
What I am trying to achieve: what mechanism (formula, workflow) can I use so when we assign a person (replacing a placeholder or filling-in a blank) to row 4, the other rows that have a match on the helper column (row 6, row 12, row 15) automatically populate with the same person?
