Suggestion: Moving sheets into a workspace

It seems that a user cannot move a sheet into a workspace where they are not the Owner, even if they have ADMIN rights to that workspace.  It would be useful to have that capability.

Consider posting this as a Product Enhancement Request. It might have something to do with whether or not the user is licensed or not.

Hello KenD,

Users who have Admin permissions on a Workspace should be able to move their owned items in to that Workspace: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/506690. If they are only an Editor on a sheet they won't be able to move it, so you might check out their Sharing Permission on the Sheet itself. 

As Mike Wilday mentioned, it's also possible that the user isn't licensed and can't technically own a Sheet. If that's the case, they can either transfer ownership of the sheet to a Licensed User or they can upgrade their account so that they are a Licensed User: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/520103.

If your user is Licensed and owns the sheet and is still unable to move a Sheet into a Workspace that they are an Admin on, please have them email us at support@smartsheet.com and we'll be happy to troubleshoot further.

I'm in the same situation. I'm the admin in all the sheets I want to move to the workspace, and I'm a licensed user and still nothing. Any solution? thanks in advance,

In order to move Sheets, you'll need to be the owner of those Sheets. Additionally, you need to either own or be an Admin on the Workspace that you're moving things into.
