Will Smartsheet load my template items into JIRA?

I have a template I will use to kickoff projects that will have JIRA tickets in them. Can I copy and paste these rows into smartsheet once I have updated them so smartsheet can start the ticket in JIRA, via our connector? I am guessing I have to make the JIRA connection in a new sheet and then copy and paste my template items into that new connected sheet. Help!

Hello Chris,

It is certainly possible to create new issues in JIRA from rows in Smartsheet. Just be sure of the following:

The "Sync new rows created in Smartsheet to JIRA" option is checked
That you have columns mapped that correspond to all the required items to create an issue and that those columns have data in them.
