How to analyse/illustrate slippage of tasks in Smartsheet
Hi,
I would like to get my sheets to highlight tasks which are overdue for completion in Smartsheet, and any subsequent tasks which may slip as a result. I imagine I will need to do a formula for this would be grateful for any advice on how to do this.
Thanks

Hello,
The best way to keep track of critical tasks in your project is to use the Critical Path. A critical path is a technique used to complete projects on time by focusing on key tasks. Once you insert predecessor values in the sheet to show the dependency between tasks, you will be able to Click the Critical Path icon in the Gantt chart header to highlight all the critical tasks of your project.
To highlight overdue tasks, you will want to set up conditional formatting for when the Due Date is in the past like in the screenshot below.
Your data will then look like the screenshot below.

Thanks Pam, I've set up a rule as per your reply and it looks good. Taking this a bit further, is there any way I could make this rule also highlight subsequent tasks which would also be put at risk of slippage?
