Can a Report Configuration ... "Include Parent Rows"?

Smartsheet has been a wonderful tool for my team since 2015. A couple things (out of many) I like are the quick sorting options on a sheet and the easy report configuration. With one nusiance exception, and I keep running into this ... On a sheet I can apply a filter and click on a box that will cause the inclusion of the parent rows of the rows included in the filter criteria. That's awesome! But I wish that same option was available in setting up criteria in the Report Builder. It ain't there. Am I missing something? Anyone else agree with this? Hey Smartsheet, can you make it happen?

The option to include the parent row when setting up criteria in the Report Builder is not available for reports at this time but you can submit an enhancement request for this functionality here so it can be considered by our development team for future implementations. I also just submitted a request for this.

I said I didn't care if the rows in the report are collapsible or not as long as you can see the parent and tell what's a parent and what's a child.
