User download@smartsheet.com in the Activity Log

Hello community and/or Support

Could not find in in the helpfile: What / who is the user download@smartsheet.com in the Activity Log (see attached screenshot) ?

I first thought It is actually the user who downloads the attachment, but when I do this, the Activity Log is not updated whith this action.

Mystery solved:

The activity log shows the "download@smartsheet.com user" when a user is not logged in and downloads an attachment from either a sent row or attachment (via email).

Good to know! Thanks for updating us! Is there a way to require a login when sending an update request to ensure that we capture user's actions?

Hi Mike,

There currently isn't a way to force people to log in when submitting an update request. Submit an Enhancement Request using the form under Quick links to let our Product team know that you'd like to see this functionality added.
