Any time I click on a cell in SmartSheet and leave the cursor on that cell for more than 5 seconds it is automatically deleting the contents of the cell. Any ideas how to stop this?
This sounds familiar. See if this helps:

Support contacted and we worked through their suggestions. It was a problem on Windows 10 and 7 devices and my MAC none of which use a Logitech. It occurred on Firefox, Safari, and Chrome. Apparently, some Chrome extensions cause issues. I am seeing more and more problems with Chrome and extensions. I also found a bunch of Chrome extensions installed that I didn't install.
The problem on this sheet was resolved by deleting the sheet and starting over with a new sheet that behaved appropriately.
You bet I was frustrated. I use Smartsheet for everything.
The problem was on a single sheet? Oh my. I don't want to lose my cell history.
I believe I have seen a slow down in Chrome's response recently too. Time to check for unexpected add-ons.
