Customize fiscal year

How do I customize a fiscal year in a Gantt chart. For example, my fiscal year starts in Aug on a specific date - is there a way to customize the timeline so that it uses my fiscal year start instead of the default options?

Hi Prashant, there isn't a way to set the start of your fiscal year to months other than the default - January, April, July, October. I will add your vote for the ability to set additional months as the start of your fiscal year.

Would add a vote for that feature.  People receiving information would not be confused by Q1, Q2, etc because they think of terms of Q1 fiscal (which for us starts in Nov).

I would like to add a vote for fiscal years too.  Also, could the Gantt chart header be customized for multiyear programs.  For example 4Q15 through 3Q17

jtgardner, yes the Gantt chart can be customized to show multiyear programs. Just schedule your tasks over the multiple years, then adjust your heading settings (Project Settings > Timeline Display) to show the format you are looking for.

Another vote - our fiscal year is February and we have a 4-5-4 weekly calendar for our fiscal months (retail industry standard).
