Column Flag

When I add rows to my smartsheet the flag selector in the flag column isn't avaiable in  the new row. Is there a way to add the flag selector to a cell or have it come along when adding rows?

The flag option should show up when you put something in the Primary Column.

Hi Don and Kris! Symbol options such as flags will appear if there is data anywhere in the row (not just the Primary column). If you wanted to enable the flag without having other data in the row, click in the flag cell and press the space bar.

Is this true for an editor as well? Is this limited to an administrator role. So if and editor adds a row do you maintain the same abilities as an admin adding rows?

Jeremy - This will be the same functionality for editors. If an editor adds a row, they can follow the same steps I provided above - as long as the flag column isn’t locked (editors cannot edit locked column).
