Will Smartsheet ever support pivot tables or graphs of the data?

Update 10/18/2016: I have not heard from anybody at Smartsheet since I posted this on 9/27/2016. Any update? How do we get this add-on?

Hello, has there been any progress on pivot tables in Smartsheet? It's rather difficult to produce summary reporting in the platform otherwise.

Here's another vote for pivot-table capability. 

I'd like to be able to sort a multi-project tracking grid by date but also keep an eye on budget data (in that same grid), broken down by type of project.

Have to export data to Excel at the moment to create the pivot, I believe, and I want (and my colleagues want) to stay out of Excel if at all possible.

(Glad to see VLookup functionality this week, BTW. Thanks!)

+1 vote for pivot tables!  Currently our team has to output our project data from Smartsheet into Power BI or Tableau, but as we work to centralize work into one tool it creates a clunky process.  We also have limited licenses for Tableau and Power BI, so our team is dependent on specific people to do work as simple as creating a pivot table.  This should live in the tool!

I also submit a strong vote for a pivot table function!

It is a must in order to analyse our data. Currently I have to Get Data using ODBS connection in Excel. It means data would be in Smartsheet and Analysis would do in Excel. It is a turn around but I would like to have them all in one place.
