I am using Smartsheet for a lot of different applications within our organization. I have a number of outstanding update requests - across a dozen sheets - but have no easy way of seeing the status of them all at once. Is there an easy way to do this?

A bulky approach would be to copy and link-paste all rows from your various sheets ontp a new sheet, and then filter the rows by due date, which will then bring the outstanding items to the top.

This solution would assume that all of your sheets are formatted the same. Otherwise, additional manual adjustment would be required.

I would suggest creating a "Report". Use the report builder to pull in data from mulitple sheets.

Thanks Bobby and Terry. I thought about using a report, but I'm not sure what criteria I would use to determine if there were an pending update request.

The reporting tool will work well to show rows based on a given criteria but it cannot identify pending update requests. You would have to check each sheet for pending update requests.

Is there any talk of making an enhancement to Smartsheet to report on pending update requests? I would find this very useful as well!

I agree that this is a much needed enhancement as I need to quickly determine across over a hundred projects (sheets) which ones have outstanding update requests and there is currently no easy way to do this.

Did anything happen with this request its 3 years old. I need help creating a report to indicate which rows have a pending request outstanding. Can you please help me do this? I still have hours left to work with someone and nobody is reaching out, the customer service on this site is subpar.

+1. Also checked Zapier and it doesn't have an integration with smartsheet about update requests.
