Good morning,
I recently purchased the base version of Smartsheet to help organize a major project. Now that the project is completed, I want explore how I can incorporate it in my day to day work.
Any suggestions of where to start?
Rick
Welcome to the Smartsheet family! Now that you have that big project under your belt, are there any administrative processes at your work that are particularly onerous, chaotic, or excessively time-consuming? For us here at Three Star, we tackled our travel management by creating a travel log in Smartsheet, and a corresponding form for employees to request travel authorizations. This doubles as our travel logistics management sheet, and we also use the same sheet to track who has completed their travel reports and who hasn't. We do that using a status column, and setting up condition formatting so that any incomplete reports are automatically highlighted in red. This has really streamlined how we manage and track travel!
What does your day to day look like?
Hi Richard,
What field of business is your company operating in?

Take a look at the Smartsheet Learning Center (https://help.smartsheet.com/learning-track/get-started). The Learning Center includes tutorials with video and step-by-step information and is organized from "Getting Started" content to more advanced learning tracks.
Another great resource are Template Sets. You'll find more information on those here:

Hi Rick,
How did it go? Did you manage to get something set up?
Have a fantastic weekend!
Hi, "Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required." is the very first line in the body of every form I create. I don't remember seeing it before (unless you missed filling out a required field; then you would see the message). Is there a way to turn it off or change it? None of my forms are in English so the message is…
I have a sheet that I pull into a report. The report I then want to use to make a stacked bar chart and put into a dashboard if I can. The columns I am trying to make into a stacked chart are: Lead, project and phase. The issue is that there are several leads and I need the stacked bar chart to show in different colors for…
I have a dynamic view setup for a dashboard that has NO restrictions And on the Sharing tab, I have a Group that I created as the additional share access to the view But the individuals in the Group still cannot see the data from the dashboard. Am I missing something? Because when I share the view to them individually…
