Slack (Float) Time

Is it possible to show slack time for each activity on the Gantt Chart ?

where can i find ES, EF, LS and LF in smartsheet ?

Smartsheet does not support slack at this time but I will submit your suggestion to our Product team for consideration in future development!

Jim, there is not a set number of votes which will get a feature developed. There are many factors that go into these decisions and customer feedback is one of them. The more a feature is requested, the more likely it will be added to the list of items being developed.

I work for a large construction company that has high interest in slack / total float for controlling our operations.  This is one area that Smartsheet could do to raise the value of its product and increase its licensed user base.  The other area for improvement is resource / commodity management but that is a different discussion.

Is there an update on the ability to view slack?  We are planning on moving to Smartsheet and I was using this functionality in MS Project today and realized I will have a headache without it.  Do you have any workarounds for this?  This really is basic scheduling functionality.

How can I plan with float. No one works on only one thing till it's complete. There has to be float feature. 

Is there any workround to over come this problem?
