If task is not finished on due date then he/she should receive a daily remainder on mail. How could we setup such recurring remainder of due Task.
Hi Ramesh,
Will you or someone else work in the sheet daily?
I hope this helps you!

Hi Andree,
Consider a case, If Team Leader assigning task to team member and he doesn't want to follow up for task and he should get notification daily if task is not finished on due date. Is there any such feature in smartsheet ?.
Thanks
One easy way to do it could be to have a daily report that shows the overdue tasks for all team members.
Would that work or do you want separate reminders for each overdue task?
Andrée
Yes i need separate remainder for each task till he/she not finish the task. Check attached screenshot of task. In screen shot assigned person should be reminded once due date is due.
You could have a notification when a task is due for every employee, but it will only be sent once.
A workaround would be to have a notification that starts when it's overdue and not complete, and with the help of a helper date column for the reminder with a formula for today =TODAY().
Another way could be a daily report that sends to every employee with their due tasks.
Would that work?
This might help!
Good news! It's coming!
Customers have requested the ability to set up workflows that repeat on a regular schedule.
We're preparing recurrence for time-based workflows so you can save even more time on repetitive steps, such as daily due date reminders and weekly status update requests. This automation enhancement will be available this spring.

I just tried to create my first dashboard using the timeline chart widget. I have set it to open the source data when clicked however it does not work. I've done this multiple times without success. It seems this is not actually an option even though you can select it in the settings. Can someone verify this or is there…
Hello, I have two sheets. One is "Current tasks" and one is "Completed tasks". I have the rows (individual tasks) auto number when entered (2026-001, 2026-002, etc.). When the row is marked complete, it is moved to the "Completed task" sheet. The problem I am having is that when the row is moved the other tasks that remain…
Do you use the standard {Sheet Name - Column Name} ? Or do use a simple name that can be easily identified? Or Do you use abbreviations? Im curious and would like to know your approach, Im hoping I could learn a lot from your experience.
