LINKING CELLS AND PERCENTAGE

Hi.

I have a master Smartsheet and multiple other sheets which are linked to the smart sheet.

While linking the % complete for each project onto the master sheet, the numbers get saved as a decimal/fraction (0.50) and not in % (50%) format. This happens even though the % complete in the primary sheets are in % format.

Can someone please tell what the issue is ?

Hi,

You have to change the formatting on the cells to percentage format. (4th icon from the right in the toolbar)

Hi Andrée,

I have the same issue as Srinidhi, but I am using a join to get information from other smartsheet files; I actived the percentage icon and nothing happens; if there is no directly solution, I was thinking if I can apply the TEXT formula from Excel, but I couldn't find the equivalent for smartsheet.

=TEXT( value , format text)

=TEXT( A3/100 , "#%" )

Can you please provide me this formula if exist and I can add it to my JOIN formula.
