If I doulbe-click the parent row, it will expand, but I have lost the expand/collpase (+/-) in the view. Is there a way to get this restored?
Hi Misty,
Did you by chance move the "Primary" Column off to the right and cannot see it? The +/- moves with the primary column. I have done this before and had the same concern until I scrolled right and found it....just an idea. Good luck.
Chuck is correct, the primary column is the only column where the +/- sumbol is visible. You can identify the primary column as it is the only column with bold header text.
Hi Travis,
Thanks for these. I am working in my primary column, but I want to add the (-/+) to a specific row and I cannot. See in these images, May 2016 can be collapsed but I can't collapse June 2016.
Okay- now I have no idea what I did- but there appears to be a heirarchy that I don't want
Probably caused by cut & paste
In July 2016 row, type "Cntrl+M" (Windows) - or promote it.
Do the same for June - it is indented too.
Craig
Thanks Craig!
It is "command" M for Mac, for all my fellow Mac users.
When you copy and paste a group of rows, they take on the hierarchy of the row above the new location.
Just got to learn to pay attention to the hierarchy when using copy and paste.
