Web form entries auto-populated one row below rows containing formulas
Hi, I've created Request management tool, which seems to be working fine. The issue I'm facing, is that when user fills out web form and new ticket is created, entries are not being auto-populated into the rows containing formulas, but one row below instead (which is formula free). How I can fix this?
Thank you,
Edvin

Hi Edvin,
Maybe the row looks empty but there still can be information. Have you tried deleting the "empty" row?
Can you share a screenshot on how it looks?
Hope that helps!
Have a fantastic weekend!

Hi Andrée, thanks for your reply. I have deleted all rows (except the one containing all formulas), and once new web form request was raised, again it was created below, as 2nd row in the sheet. 1st with formulas still remains blank. Some more details: Columns containing formulas are not the ones being auto-populated from the web form, so there shouldn't be any conflict.
Thank you,
Edvin

Removed 1st blank row, raised another dummy case - works fine. Formulas are auto-populating correctly. There's no need to apply formulas for the entire column, apparently that's the way it works

Excellent!
Here's some more information on how it works: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/1641473-auto-filling-formulas-and-formatting
Conditions That Trigger Formula Autofill
You’ll see formulas populate automatically when you type in a newly inserted or blank row that is:
- Directly between two others that contain the same formula in adjacent cells.
- At the very top of the sheet if it’s above two rows that have the same formula in adjacent cells. (This includes rows inserted from a form.)
- Above or below a single row that is between blank rows and has formulas.
Best,
Andrée
