This is probably a simple question but I am trying to show weekly results over the past 4 months. This is fine obviously as a one-off data grab but I need the range to move every week automatically.
Can anyone help with this?
Can you provide some more details and possibly some screenshots of what you're working with and what you're trying to accomplish.
From what I gather from your post so far...
You cannot get a chart/graph (I am assuming in a dashboard?) to automatically change rows or columns. You would have to automate the data within the chart range selected or manually adjust the chart range.
Hi Paul,
I am not sure if this explains but a webform is submitted weekly and the data accumulates on a sheet week by week.
Management want to see the weekly results on a dashboard for the past 3-4 months so that they can compare trends. Obviously that date range moves every week and we don't want to have to change the date range manually every week to keep it up to date. Ideally we would like the set range to be automatically selected from 'Today' back '3 months'.
Trust this makes sense
It makes perfect sense. Unfortunately there is going to have to be manual work involved if you are plotting this on a chart type widget.
A few people (including myself) have put in product enhancement requests to be able to use reports for a chart widget on a dashboard. This would solve your particular issue.

Hello Paul,
Thanks for your support!
Happy to (kinda) help.
Is there any feedback on this enhancement??
I am manually re-sorting my sheets ( I like the graphs to ascend or descend) and to capture set data.
Time consuming lol.. would love to streamline this one.
Anyway we can make this view only for security purposes? We would like to prevent users from sending responses to other users by accident.
I am currently setting up an automation for people to get notified through their email, when they are prompted. But is there a way that they can reply in the email of a comment that will then go to the specific sheet. This way they do not have access to the sheet, but can just comment through email with updates?
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my current Smartsheet experience. I have paid for a Pro subscription, I am the owner and administrator of my account and sheets, and I have confirmed I am logged into the correct account. Despite this, Smartsheet is not recognizing my Pro subscription, and I am unable to…
