Status View App

Has anyone played with the new Status View App. It looks ideal for what we have in mind but wondered if anyone here had tried it?

  • I have not tried it becuase it was too pricey for 1 user. I did however manage to setup something similar using the Reports feature in Smartsheets, to filter Tickets based on status and user ID. It's pretty simple to do once you realize the Reports have this capability, while still allowing you and other shared users to edit the sheet through the Report.

     

  • Thanks. We have something similar with reports. I guess it would have been easier on the eyes in this new app. I may ask for some sort of trial. Hopefully they reduce the price after a while.

    Hi Stuart, I realise your comment was a long time ago but did want to see how you got on with Status View. I am keen on status view but haven't managed to get access to it yet. Did you get any further with it or are you still using reports?

    Keen to hear from anyone else's experience using reports/Sight and Status View for interface with external parties.
