Advanced Calendar - displaying icon if comment

Hello,

Recently there have been a few improvements to the advanced calendar application. However, previously, when someone left a comment in the standard comment field in Smartsheets, the advanced calendar app would display a square box on the front of the tile indicating a comment is present.

This seems to have disappeared after the recent update and i cannot workout how to fix in the configuration options.

Anyone know a fix to this issue or how to enable this in the options?

I've escalated this to our Development team to identify wether this is being caused by a bug or by design. I'll update you once I have more information.

Hi Andrew,

I heard back from our Development team and it appears that in order to view the attachment and comment symbols within the Calendar app, a column of type "Symbols" is required within your sheet (the column can be blank).

To view the attachment and comment symbols you'll want to:

1. Open the Calendar app settings

2. Under step 3 "Map Columns" and then under the "Symbol" dropdown, select the symbol column.

3. Check the "display" checkbox to the right of the symbol dropdown.
