Adding a Primary Column

Hi. 

Ive just signed up for the free trial as I have a live project and I need something like Smartsheet.

I can't seen to work out how to create a new Primary Column.

What do I do ?

Welcome!

If you've created a sheet, there already is a Primary Column. It's probably the first one. (bold text)

I think you mean Parents / Children.

I think its a parent row I am trying to create, with children- I have 24 in total.

I can't see how to create a parent ! The indent doesnt show because I on an empty row. How do I add a parent ?

Happy to help!

If you insert a row above the 24 children/subtasks, right click on the first subtask row and select insert above and write something in the cell. Then select all subtasks and click on the Indent button in the toolbar (left of the Font selector).

The first row will become the Parent, and the subtasks will be Children.

I have 24 tasks

I just want to know how to create a parent/ task name.

I can then enter the action/ child.

ID  1 - QFH project    05/22/19    11/22/19    

ID 2 Scaffold    05/25/19    12/04/19    

ID 3 Masonry    05/27/19    07/31/19    

Sub-task;  Start and finish    05/27/19    06/28/19    

    07/27/19    07/30/19

I need to end up with a sheet with 24 different ID's
