Thank You! This worked for me. I added a column with sequential numbers (1 thru 50) and referenced that column in the formula to get all the second, third, fourth, etc unique names.

@john I That's typically what I do as well, but you indicated the desire to avoid helper columns which is why I just went with the hard coded number that gets manually changed for you.

I"ve been thinking through this for days trying matches and countifs but running into the dreaded cell formula limit. This INDEX(DISTINCT) combination was exactly what I was looking for.
