Is there a way to change the color of the circle with the contact's initial?
We have someone on the team with strong preference for a color...
Thank you!
Hi Terry,
Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
Hope that helps!
Have a fantastic weekend!

The circle is given a default colour with initials in a contact list column if the user has not set a custom image in their own profile, under Personal Settings > Profile > Add Photo. You can direct this user to our Help Center article on Managing Your Personal Profile to make this update.
Please note that if they add an image that is just a block of colour, their initials will not appear on top of it. They would need to create an image that has their initials and the preferred colour background before uploading it to their profile.
Cheers!
Genevieve
Hi Genevieve,
Nice workaround!
Andrée
That worked! Thank you so much for the fast response.
Any updates on adding the ability to change the color for team members? Seems to be a simple request. This way, non-users won't need to try to navigate the process to update their profile image. For the admin to assign a color would be extremely useful if a number of members were a part of different groups that could all have the same color or internal vs external members.
Hi all - I have a report that includes a symbol column type. The report is displaying the column correctly (with the symbol). However when I create a Dynamic View from this report, instead of that column displaying symbols, it displays text. Is there a way to get symbols to display in Dynamic view?
Does Smartsheet have the capability to create business process flowcharts or process documents? Im looking for something similar to Vizio or lucid chart?
My manager has asked me to put a border around all of my metric widgets in my dashboard. I cannot figure a way to do this. I tried creating a jpg. of an unfilled rectangle and bring in as an image. But I could not get the widgets to stay on top of the reectangle. Any ideas?
