Attaching files from email

There doesn't seem to be drag/drop functionality for dragging attachments or emails from Outlook into a task.  Has anyone else had any luck with this or are there plans for this to be added as a feature?

Hello John—there isn't a way to drag and drop email files over the attachments window. The email will need to first be exported out of Outlook and saved as a file on your computer before it can be added as an attachment.

 

We do also have an integration with Outlook that you might check out, but keep in mind that it currently only works with Office 365 for business users: https://www.smartsheet.com/apps/microsoft-outlook

it would be great if this functionality could be added (I think there is another thread about this too) - I know it would be highly utilized at least from my team but probably many others too

I drag the attachment to my desktop and then drag it into Smartsheet.

I am running into an issue when using Chrome.  I cannot drag/drop an Outlook email into Smartsheet.  I can when using Edge.  Smartsheet support is telling me it's an issue with Chrome.

It works great.
