I use a web form which creates a code in the actual smartsheet, is there anyway of sending that code back to the person who raised the webform?
Julie
not as part of the form filling process, as the unique code isnt generated until the Sheet has been populated. However, presumably as part of the new data arriving, someone will evaluate that data? All that person has to do is email the sender with an "update request" that shares the unique code with them, thanks them for completing the form and asks them to check a box and click submit to say they have received the acknowledgement.
Would that work? If not lets look again?

To add to Richard's response, you can also manually email a read-only version of the row they submitted containing your code: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/504773-sending-sheets-rows-via-email
