Formula help
Hi Everyone
I am having some difficulties with trying to pull some data. Background of the formula is I am looking to see how much a certain individual spent in 2019 on agencies. I am using the following formula =SUMIFS([Annie Direct]:[Annie Direct] "Patrick Madsen",[Year]:[Year], "2019", [Payment Amount]:[Payment Amount]). However. I keep getting #UNPARSEABLE. is the formula wrong, if so, what should I be using instead?

Hi Patrick,
Try something like this.
=SUMIFS([Payment Amount]:[Payment Amount]; [Annie Direct]:[Annie Direct]; "Patrick Madsen"; Year:Year; IFERROR(YEAR(@cell); "") = 2019)
The same version but with the below changes for your and others convenience.
=SUMIFS([Payment Amount]:[Payment Amount], [Annie Direct]:[Annie Direct], "Patrick Madsen", Year:Year, IFERROR(YEAR(@cell), "") = 2019)
Depending on your country you’ll need to exchange the comma to a period and the semi-colon to a comma.
Did it work?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic weekend & Happy Holidays!

Excellent!
Happy to help!
SUMIFS have a different formula structure than the SUMIF and then the @cell for YEAR can be tricky.
Here's some helpful information about the SUMIFS function.
