It looks like you're trying to use a URL Query string to specify different default values in a form, is that correct?
If so, the easiest thing to do would actually be to remove the *'s from your column header. If you want to keep them in your column header, another option would be just to edit the Title in the Form to be a custom title, without the *'s.
If you really want to keep special characters within the title and the form, you could replace the *'s with a different symbol, such as ^. The ^ symbol is referenced in a query as %5E.
