SUMIF based on checkbox column

This discussion was created from comments split from: How is the checkbox function recognised?.

  • I am having a similar issue- but cant quite figure out where i ma going wrong. I ma looking to add 2 values IF a box is checked.

I keep getting a circular error.

Any assistance would be very helpful as I will use condition like this often in our workbooks.

  • If I'm understanding correctly--- I would try =IF(CHECK14=1, SUM([SFR VAL]15:[SFR VAL]17))

This will total your range of fees basked on the CHECK14 cell being checked.

  • Awesome @sPark !! I will try this! :)

  • Actually it gave me the same #circularreference error :(
