How to copy a parent row through automation without also receiving children?

I have tested several automation options and am unable to only copy parent rows. I can set the criteria to only copy a single or multiple children without parents but, only want parent rows of data to be copied.

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to only copy the parent, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment to have your vote added

The third-party service, Zapier, could be an excellent option for this scenario. (Untested, I haven't tested to only copy the parent) Is that an option for you?

I just stumbled on this today and saw that this post was up. Was there an enhancement request put in and how soon before we get to see this capability. Not just parent row but also a Parent/Child row.
