Create a schedule with reoccurring events without entering the dates for every occurrence
Hi,
I would like to create a class schedule that has several months of weekly reoccurring classes. How can I do this without creating a single row for each class occurrence? Ie Monday and Friday 3-5p, every week from Jan 1 to June 30th. Thanks!

Hi,
Do you want to get a notification or show it in the calendar or something else?
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!

Hi Andree,
Thanks for the prompt reply. Attached are a grid and calendar view sample. What I'd like to do is be able to set up a reoccurring event - like you would on a meeting calendar - so I can list all the class for the semester without having to create a single row entry for each instance. Classes continue weekly from January on the same day(s) until May.
I use the project code column for conditional formatting, but have no other formulas or rules. The schedule needs to include both weekly reoccurring classes, and range dates for completing assignments. For this reason, I have calendar view set to view all dates by range.
Thanks for your help,
Chris

Just checking in on this reply? Thanks.

Unfortunately, I think you have to add a row for each, but it could probably be simplified with template sections.
Would that work/help?
