Hi-
I have one column that has a dropdown box of locations to be chosen from. I am trying to setup a formula that depending on the location chosen the mechanic is automatically filled in. Can someone please assist
=IF([Campus Location]1= 02411.WCU OC, "Preston Pearson"))

Hi Brittany,
It looks like you missed surrounding the location with ".
Try this.
=IF([Campus Location]1= "02411.WCU OC", "Preston Pearson"))
Did it work?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!

Hi-
Unfortunately this did not work for me, and I am still getting the #unparseable error. Let me know if there are any other suggestions.
Thanks
Brittany

Happy to help!
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)

Hi-
Sorry I will try to describe as best as possible, I have taken a screen shot below of what I am trying to do. When choosing an option from Campus Location (dropbox option), I want the Mechanic column to automatically fill with the corresponding person for that location.Does this help anymore? See image below

At a glance it looks correct to me.
I'd be happy to take a quick look.
Can you share the sheet?

There is one too many closing parenthesis at the end of the formula...
=IF([Campus Location]1= "02411.WCU OC", "Preston Pearson")
