Display a notice when a value = x

Hi , is it possible to have a pop-up message box, or some other type or reminder displayd when a certain  value in a row in one column is macthing  X. 

 

For axmple:When I change status to DONE ,I want some kind of reminder on the screen to do something outside smartsheets.

 

I keep forgetting to check something important when that happens. I don't wanna e-mail reminder, it has to be something on a screen .

It isn't a pop-up, but it is visual.

Smartsheet doesn't have user-defined dialog boxes.

Would it be possible for me a add a short VB program like I have in excel to dislapy a pop up warning?

No macro language, no scripting language in Smartsheet.

You could try the API - but I haven't tried to do a pop-up inside SS - I would assume the lag would make it less than useful.
