    The rows that you indent can't be empty. Two other options that don't need to have parents/children would be to add something like the following formula to another column (not the same that you want to SUM) or by using the Sheet Summary section (depending on which plan you have).

    Formula.

    Try something like this.

    =SUM([$ AMOUNT (USD!)]:[$ AMOUNT (USD!)])
