Maximum Amount of Filter's
Is there a maximum amount of filters someone can create? We are in a situation where I am getting asked to make the filter's really specific and might have to create close to 150-200.

Hi Billy,
Interesting!
I’m curious. Why would you need so many filters? What’s the process / use-case?
Have a fantastic week!

Thanks for replying, Andree
The sheet we have created will be a "cheat sheet" for our technicians that are fixing vehicles they are assigned. It has pricing information for about 600 different vehicles. Instead of filtering for "Make" of the vehicle (Acura, Ford, Chrysler, etc...), they want to be able to narrow down based on model (Fusion, 300, F-150, MDX...).
I get their desire, but we will have to create a lot of filters because of that.

Happy to help!
Could it work to use reports instead? Maybe one for each "make," and then they could select model themselves. Maybe have a master template or report that the technicians could use as a starting point.
What do you think?

You could also create a sort of "dynamic filter" using the top row and a hidden checkbox column. The checkbox would use an IF statement to compare what is manually entered in the top row to the data in each row and check the box for any row that matches. Then you would need to only create 1 filter that is based on the boxes being checked.
You would just enable the filter, enter the desired search criteria across the top row (could even use the Sheet Summary section instead), save, then refresh.
