Force upper case on a column

Hello Everyone,

I got a question.

Is there any way to force upper case on a text column?

I have a column where users enter information using iPads and it will be very helpful if the cells will automatically force to have upper case font in it.

You’d need to use a so-called helper column and the UPPER function.

Hey Andree,

I looked into it but that means I have to have a column for input and another for view, which is a bit of a pain.

I am looking for more of a setting where I can set the column to always be upper case.

I mean, a formula will be good as well, as long as it affects the cell I am inputting the info into it.

The third-party service, Zapier, is an excellent option. Is that an option for you?

Another option could be the Smartsheet API.

I have been trying to work with Zapier but I have not been able to get it to work (Do the uppercase on update).
