Grouping

Grouping

We use SmartSheets to manage our display campaigns. With each of our campaigns, we can have 1 to N different pieces of creative associated with them. I'm looking for a way to group (either by ID, Campaign, etc.) my sheet to show the campaign name and budget only once, and then each piece of creative associated with it (kind of a parent child relationship). it shows each campaign & budget over and over, and that can be a problem if the vendor processes the budget multiple times

    Hi Mike,

I think that filters or reports could be a solution.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, [email protected])

    I hope that helps!

    Have a fantastic weekend!

  • Yeah, it was a little bit tough to describe. Here's an example of what I'm hoping to acheive.

I'd suggest to use parent/children and then include the parent name in a helper column and a filter or a report for each campaign, and then you would only see that selected campaign.

    Would that work?

  • sounds like it. i haven't used a parent-child relationship before, but i'll look it up.
