Alert Notification based on cell value

I have sheets with multiple columns that gather information, perform calculations and come up with a number. That number needs to trigger an Alert Notification once it exceeds a specified value. So far, I cannot find any way to create an Alert Notification based on the value of a specific cell. Is there any way Smartsheet can perform this, what seems to be a very basic function?

Yes, it’s possible.

You’d use conditions in the workflow to decide when it should trigger.
