Send Update Requests

I deleted an automated "Send Update Requests" that I set up but for some reason it is still sending notifications to people.

How can I undo that even tho I can't see where its coming from

Hi Andrée,

I deleted the notification but this screenshot still gets sent to assignees even though I can't find the workflow anywhere on the sheet

Could it be a copy of the sheet? Have you checked both the Automations area and the update request area?

In the email notification itself, there should be a link to the sheet. Use that link to go to the sheet and see if any automations are present that way.

@Andrée Starå I only thought of it because of your comment about it being a copy of a sheet. I've had people save a sheet as new not realizing I had some kind of automation in place that I had been using for myself. They only removed the "Copy of" portion when they copied the sheet because we weren't sharing with each other (same boss though). I ended up removing my automation, and they didn't. Needless to say there was definitely some confusion for a while until we figured it out. Haha

Long story short I had both sheets opened at the same time (mine and the one that opened when clicking on the link) and only realized we were looking at two different sheets when I checked the properties.
