How to calculate date when someone confirm approval in data row.

=IF([Status]2="Approved",,TODAY(),"") but not working ....

Hi Yashwant,

Your formula has one , too many.

Try this.

=IF([Status]@row="Approved",TODAY(),"")

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to lock the date with the TODAY function (it will always show the current date), but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

As a possible workaround, you could.

• Lock the row and use the modified column for the date, but it only works if no more changes will be made on the row.
• Automatically copy the row to another sheet and then collect the date from that sheet.
• The third-party service, Zapier, is an excellent option for this scenario. Is that an option for you?

Would any of those options work?
