Conditional Formatting in same column with multi criteria

Would you want the colors in the half-donut to be to scale where Red is a larger portion then Yellow and Dark Green are the smallest two with Light Green being slightly larger, or would you rather each section be the same size?
-
That's a great question. I think it should reflect the scale.

You are going to want to set up a table like so:
The "Data" column is going to be where whatever number you want to actually display resides.
Next you want to apply conditional formatting like so:
Now we can move on to the dashboard. Add in a Metrics Widget and select the cell that contains the number you want to display. Click on the data then select the button the will show the cell's formatting.
And finally the chart. Add a chart widget and select [Chart Legend]1:[Chart Colors]4. You want to use a donut chart and then select to use a semi-circle. I also turn off the Slice Labels. Lastly you are going to want to go into the Series options and change the colors for each slice to match what you have for your Conditional Formatting in the sheet.
The end result will look something like the below...

@Paul Newcome Morning :) Is there a way to customize the label of the chart legend on the bar graph widget? I need to be able to indicate which color was the plan and which is the actual and the dashboard owner didn't like the look of the separate legend that I created using the title widget.
-
There may be. Can you provide a screenshot of exactly what you are wanting to change?
-
Sure! I need to label these Plan (for the green) and Actual (for the red)
-
How is your source data set up? Can you provide a screenshot of that as well?
-
Is that enough detail? I don't know how to change what the series is called. Sometimes it comes over as a number and sometimes like this...
-
My apologies. I meant the sheet itself.
-
Oh gotcha...There is a lot on that sheet. Is there something in particular you are looking for?
-
If you can grab a screenshot that shows the column names, the first column used and then some extra columns and rows so that I can get an idea of the overall layout of the grid you are using for the chart.
-
The columns continue through the end of 2020.
This is the same sheet you helped me do the conditional formatting for, so there are hidden columns helping with the colors.
-
And exactly which columns/rows are you grabbing for the chart above?
