Calculating the number of months between 2 dates over multiple years

Is there a way of calculating the number of months that have passed from one date to another over multiple years, in Excel I would have used DATEDIF but this is not available in Smartsheet.

in the months elapsed field is where I need the number of months formula so I can continue to monitor the number of cards raised since this initiative went live on 1st August 2019 (UK format date dd/mm/yy)
