IF STATEMENT WITH A RESULT IN SYMBOL
Hi im trying to archive that is this statement =IF(Price1>Price2,"Green Arrow")
but not sure how to add the green arrow of the symbols is there a way?

This took me a hot moment too - here's a link to the available symbols and what you'd put in the =IF statement: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/2480316-available-symbols-in-symbols-column
So your formula would be =IF(Price1>Price2, "Up") depending on which type of symbol you're using.

Another quick way to see what text value needs to be used to generate the symbol is by looking at one of the cells in the Symbol column. It should have a dropdown arrow on the right of the cell. If you click on that dropdown arrow, it will show what options can be selected and includes the text values for each.

Hi Laura,
One method i use sometimes is to use a formula and reference the symbol and then it shows the text for it.
Something like.
=Symbol@row

Hello, I am trying to add the color gray to my drop down... not sure how to use the formula listed above for this. Help would be really appreciated since it's a time sensitive ask.
