Transfer Sheet Ownership to another licensed user

Can you transfer ownership of a sheet from one person to another licensed user? If so, how?

Ah. Ok. Go into the User Management tab and then click on the little dropdown arrow next to the person's name that currently owns the documents.

You must be the owner of the sheet. Then you would share the person you want to give ownership to to the sheet. Afterwards, you can go into the sheet's sharing settings, click on the dropdown as if you are going to change their permissions, and there should be an option to "Make Owner".

Thanks -- what if that owner is no longer with the organization -- is there a workaround?

A system Admin can transfer ownership of everything in that person's account to another.

Cool - that's what I thought -- I am a system admin and just couldn't see how to get that done -- i "flipped through" the admin menu looking around before I asked.
