External email hyperlink

Hi,

Is it possible to enter a hyperlink to an external email (eg. client, who does NOT have access to the SmartSheet)?

We would like to have this in order to be able to write email to a client by just clicking at is email within our Smartsheet.

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

As a possible workaround, you could use a URL shortener service to create a clickable link.

You could also send the email from Smartsheet. Is that an option?

Slightly similar, in my dashboard, when you click on an image I want the hyperlink to be "mailto:xxxxxxx" but it doesn't accept that as a valid link

Using the Shortcut Widget, I was able to utilize the below to hyperlink to an Outlook email address.

Upon click, a new web tab opens up with designated from address as the Smartsheet account linked email address and the to address as the embedded Outlook email in the Shortcut Widget.
