how to realize a projectplan with planned start/end/effort/duration vs. actual start/end/effort/....

Hi all,

we are successfull planning projects with smartsheet.

Now we would like to compare planned start/end/effort/duration vs. actual start/end/effort/duration.

Any idea how to do that? Baseplans? How to visualice two gantt bars planned vs. actual ( vs. base x plan)

To visualize both Gantt bars, you would need to first create the baseline project plan. Then you would make a copy of it for your actual project plan. You can reference both sheets in a report to show each deliverable's baseline and actual dates on the Gantt similar to

Deliverable 2 Baseline

Deliverable 2 Actual

good idea, but seems not to be very usable

a report will not show the outlining structure parent - child

also I do not know how to sort the projects, phases, tasks and subtasks in the report to have them in the same order but actual and base lines are beside each other.
