Can the smartsheet hyperlink be omitted from emails?

Since Update Requests send specific fields to the user in the email, the sheet link is also part of the email, identifying what sheet will be updated, and cannot be removed at this time.

With an alert type of action you can choose just to send the Message (or the customized text of your alert without any of the sheet fields) without the sheet link. See this Help Article for more information: Customize the Content of Your Alerts and Requests
