I'd love to know more about this also, still trying to wrap my head around it all.
I'd love a calendar type option, similar to Outlok calendar with room allocations to show availability aswell as bookings.
I am really curious about the plans Smartsheet has with resource management. It seems there have been no improvements since the feature was launched? We had high hopes for it, but is not really useable for us, yet.
For example:
- we'd like to plan in weeks rather than days
- if one day for one person is 101% allocated, that is not a big problem, but the 'overallocated' icon is always red..
- ideally, if a task is spread over a longer time, it should not be a problem if in practice the % varies day by day.
- % are difficult to work with anyway. We think in hours. And some of us work 32 hours a week and others 36 or 40.
