Conditional formatting cells
Hi,
I use following columns:
interval + [last date] = [new date] f.e. 12 (month) [2019-02-01] = [2020-02-01]
I want the cells in column [new date] to change "red" when [new date] + (interval) has arrived = february 2021
How does it work ? Is there a way?
regards Joerg ;-)

You would need a date type column that has that date in it.

This feels pretty straightforward, though I'd be curious to understand the context of your use case to provide a more interesting response.
Independent of the formula used to derive the value in New Date, begin by opening conditional formatting and setting your preferred column condition to "is today"
Change "this format" to red background and, ideally, white text for contrast's sake
Then the default "entire row" to the preferred column
Let me know if this is what you were looking to accomplish. Thanks!

Dear Kyle,
unfortunately I couldn´t express exactly what I meant.
the column (new date) should turn "red" only when (new date + interval) has reached =
Hope you have a new solution ?

Do you wan the cell to stay red even when the [New Date] is today or in the past, or do you only want it to be red when the [New Date] is today?
Either way you are going to need to insert a Date type column that calculates the date of [New Date] + Interval for the conditional formatting to run against.

when [new date] is today Kyle already suggested a solution.
It would be interesting to know if there is also a solution for ([new date] + interval) = "red"
Any idea ?
